At the aids2031 Steering Committee Meeting held in London Oct. 7-8, 2008, John Stover of the Futures Institute presented a plan for a long term cost model for HIV/AIDS. Current cost estimates project only a few years into the future and look at a limited set of scenarios. The Futures Institute will extend these estimates to 2031 and evaluate these costs in 4 different scenarios.
