The Department for International Development (DfID) provides financial support for the Strengthening Institutions to Improve Public Expenditure Accountability program, a component of its innovative Governance and Transparency Fund (GTF).  DfID's support of the Strengthening Institutions program began in 2008 and will continue through 2013.
