The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation began supporting the Results for Development Insitute in 2006 when it provided funding for the first phase of the Transparency and Accountability Program (TAP).  Since that time, the Hewlett Foundation has renewed its support of TAP, providing funding for continued governance and accountability work through 2011.  In addition, the Hewlett Foundation has supported projects to improve the effectiveness of TAP and R4D.
