Audrey McIntyre is an R4D Senior Fellow and a consultant specializing in global health market dynamics. She is an active adviser to R4D’s growing Market Dynamics practice as well as a consultant to other global health organizations, including the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) and the Initiative for Medicines, Access, and Knowledge (I-MAK).
Previously, Audrey worked at CHAI in various positions including as Deputy Director of Access Programs. In this role, she managed the multi-million dollar CHAI-UNITAID ARV Projects, which supplied free medication to pediatric and second-line HIV/AIDS patients in 40+ developing countries, and leveraged large-scale purchasing to reduce drug prices by more than 50%. Her experience also includes co-authoring CHAI's strategy for improving access to health commodities and expanding CHAI's forecasting and ARV market intelligence capabilities.
Prior to CHAI, Audrey worked in the private sector as a management consultant at Bain & Company, where she advised clients in the private equity, financial services, and consumer products/retail industries. Audrey holds Bachelors’ degrees in Economics and Sociology from Brown University.
