In July 2011, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation commissioned R4D to identify opportunities to improve the global marketplace for LLINs. R4D rapidly engaged with 140 actors including suppliers, countries, and global financiers and regulators to achieve it. The team has developed concrete strategies which can save the global community over $600M over 5 years.
